So the hacker/maker blog Hackaday appear to have too much money. They're running a contest that lasts pretty much to the end of the year. The idea is build something awesome, and the winner get's a trip to space. Yes, a trip to fucking space.

So come on Teh, what shall we build?

We should plan and fabricate a spaceship that would be able to take us to space should we win. It'd have a place to sit and a joystick for moving around with.

They're sure to go for it as it'd save them the expense of building/hiring one themselves.

Or robot bees.

As long as we get some decent music piped in, yes.

What about a storage system for clouds? We trap the extra unwanted ones in rainy countries and ship them over to dry countries that need the rainfall.

Would it be cloud connected?

Yes.

With thunderbolts.

What would you like to build?

I've no idea. I thought a 3d printing spider would be cool (spider robot that deposits filament out of its spider bits), but rather useless.

I'm afraid we've been trumped by China which is 3d printing houses. So it's 3d printing Lamborghini's, or fold.

Edit: android spelled that last bit for me.
