Well done! Nice use of swaddling to prevent any premature arm length comparisons.
Congrats Milko! If she could have held on just a few more days he could have shared a birthday with my son! Is this your first?
Thanks you all. The doctors haven't mentioned arm-length as one of their concerns so he's probably escaped my genes on that one. He looks like he's taking after his mum in most ways so far actually, including the fine head of hair. And he is indeed our first.
They're still in hospital, needed an emergency caesarian to fish him out in the end so they're under observation. I am tired and going to bed.
*\o/* Congrachliations to the three of you ((((Milko&Tina&Dylan)))))
Congratumalations! Looks like a fine healthy chappy.
We almost had to do the emergency Caesarian thing, so I can imagine how stressful that must have been for you, hope mum and little one recover quickly.
Enjoy that sleep, it'll be the last good one you have for a while!
Ooh! Yay! Congratulations to all involved. What took you so long?
Yay! Congratulations. I presume that you'll mostly be feeding him custard creams once he's on to solids?
Brilliant news! Well done to you and Tina - but will Dylan be pronounced the Welsh way or the English?
Ace biscuits - congrats to you both.
That is a serious amount of hair, he's obviously been concentrating very hard pushing all that out, as the expression on his face bears out.
How heavy was the little man?
Congratulations on his world entry!

Woo hoo. Congratulations! A lovely little mini mod.
Delighted by the evidence of viability.
Beautiful! Congratulations to you all!
Wooohooo
welcome to the offical Milky Bar Kid!
Congratulations to both of you.
You chose that photo carefully, the FB one somehow hides his hands making it far easier to joke about it...
Congrats, best of luck and health to you all!
Got 'em home last night, things are going pretty well really! Humans are pretty impressively resilient in some ways (and totally hopeless in others).
He was 8lb 4oz (3.745kg) at birth. Bigger than we expected! And custard creams indeed but only wavy ones. He's gonna be an English Dylan I reckon, we'll just leave the spelling for the Welsh bit I guess - reflects my heritage pretty well if it's neither one or the other. More fun to be had listening to Tina's mum trying to pronounce it anyway! Then telling us we're doing Chi Wing wrong.
Wikipedia says Chi is a unit of length based on the human forearm. (bounce) (giggle)
