Is it the kind of show that would be good for finding and playing with car / bike mounted cameras?
It is but you could save yourselves the trouble and buy a go pro hero 3 black edition.

Everyone I know who does car/"extreme sport" filming uses a GoPro of some sort.
There are other brands, and I assume some cheaper ones. I've also seen quite a few sports cams on DealExtreme. It's the sort of things I'd like to test out sometime, but I don't fancy spending money on cheaper models to only find that I should've just bought a GoPro. My only issue with the GoPro is the shape. I think I'd prefer the cylinder shape you get with a Contour camera.

Hm... Well since Saturday's sold out, I can't really do Friday that easily (day off etc aren't ideal). Unless Fozza comes by to say that he's going or something, then the point of a few of us meeting up might be missed anyway :-((
