Major Update-me-do

all of which 39987.74http://www.tehforum.co.uk/forum/index.php?webtag=DEFAULT&msg=39987.74!

OK, what happened there seems to be reproducible in Safari6/OSX.8.2:

If you select text in the text area and click the link button, the text remains selected. Now when you paste, the link gets pasted in place of the text rather than in the URL box. The dialogue complains that an URL is needed before closing, so you move the focus and paste. But if you're not observant you now have two links and no text.

So the text area maintains focus when the dialogue is invoked.

Bloody Macs! :{)

But at least it's pre-dented! (bounce)

I'm having some major issues.

When I try to reply or make a post in Firefox or Chrome the text area doesn't appear. Where it should be is just Orange (for me, I assume blue for the rest).

I'm using lightmode right now.

I've cleared cache and history on both.

Try going directly to post.php so it's not in the frameset and do the hold shift + click reload on it, see if that works.

Failing that, any JavaScript errors in Firebug / Console?

It's a new admin control. It's called muting.

Reloading doesn't fix.

Matt must take some responsibility for even allowing that colour as an option.

It started years ago when the walls in my old bedroom were painted yellow. It matched :$

I haven't been able to go back to blue since.

When using full mode on my tablet earlier, I noticed I couldn't paste into a post and the tool bar didn't work. Can't remember what browser (I use Firefox and the standard android browser), but will have a play later (m,j) and see if I can reproduce it.

That's just a CSS error and I'd be very surprised if that is causing your problems.

Have you tried going to Yellow yourself?

I've changed the colour/style and it's working. If I go back to Yellow it's broken.

I'm sure I fixed this last night. You should be able to go back to Yellow now, probably cache clear-me-do though otherwise you will have the old broken CSS.

Spoilers don't seem to be working - see the Skyfall thread. Clicking the spoiler reveals either "[Object MSSelection]" or "[Object Selection]" in IE9. Also, once you've spoiler-ed something, you can't go in and edit it.

For some reason, I'm getting completely blank pages when I try to look at Teh Forum in Firefox. Don't know if that's my problem or yours.

[object MSSelection]

[object MSSelection] here in Firefox for that spoiler.
