Well that's interesting. HTML in the quick reply box works in Firefox on OS X, but not Safari or Chrome.

Toolbar is there for me on QuickReply. You only get Bold, Italic and Underline though.

Any JavaScript errors?

Tried clearing your cache?

Chrome very (fucking annoyingly) aggressively caches the shit out of everything, so there is a chance you've got the old JavaScript and CSS where it wasn't working for everyone.

Unless the JavaScript is broken in Chrome / Safari, which is unlikely if the main Post page works.

Also, I will be reverting the Enter key press changes tonight because they don't have the desired affect when viewed on Mobile mode.

Which means back to enter creating a new paragraph unless I can make the <br> on Enter work reliably which I haven't been able to do yet.

It's disappeared for me, maybe I need to clear my cache again. But HTML works for me.

Agreed. You should add a browser sniffer to BH so that when a Mac is detected it redirects the visitor to a place where they can by a proper computer.

Why would you redirect people who already own a mac to the apple store? :?

So they can feel the joy of knowing that their latest purchase, a mere two weeks ago, is now woefully outdated and fit only for scrap.

I think Fozza's iPad is too slow to be scrap :'S

all of which 39987.74http://www.tehforum.co.uk/forum/index.php?webtag=DEFAULT&msg=39987.74!

OK, what happened there seems to be reproducible in Safari6/OSX.8.2:

If you select text in the text area and click the link button, the text remains selected. Now when you paste, the link gets pasted in place of the text rather than in the URL box. The dialogue complains that an URL is needed before closing, so you move the focus and paste. But if you're not observant you now have two links and no text.

So the text area maintains focus when the dialogue is invoked.

Okay, should work properly now.

Will need to do ye olde browser refresh just to be sure.

I'm having some major issues.

When I try to reply or make a post in Firefox or Chrome the text area doesn't appear. Where it should be is just Orange (for me, I assume blue for the rest).

I'm using lightmode right now.

I've cleared cache and history on both.

Try going directly to post.php so it's not in the frameset and do the hold shift + click reload on it, see if that works.

Failing that, any JavaScript errors in Firebug / Console?

It's a new admin control. It's called muting.

Reloading doesn't fix.
