just chucking in a prediction here ~

The Greek island of Santorini, volcanic eruption sometime soon, possibly within months

Within how many months? WE WANT ACCURACY!!!

See, Snort? That's the way to do it. No spurious postdictions, No Nostradamian mumbo jumbo, just bold prophecy unsupported by any theoretical underpinning, other than Santorini being a volcanic powder keg responsible for one of the largest eruptions in recorded history.

Incidentally Jon, if it does blow up & Oia, one of my favourite places in the whole world, gets damaged then I'm holding you personally liable.

Can I ask you a question?

What caused the Yangtze to turn red?

Some people are citing pollution, while others are claiming it's one of the biblical plagues run amok.

So, I'm wondering what your take on it was, and if we should start securing the Thames should the Women's Institute get wind of it and the idea catches on.

Edit - Also, why didn't you predict it?! :-@

So just to be clear, you believe that Iceland will have a major earthquake in November, possibly on the 9th?

Is there any terrestrial geological significance to an eclipse? If not, why would 'they' 'hang the blame' for a major geological event on it? Superstitious natives?

So we might have a -7.5R earthquake?

The eclipse in November is on the 13th, but those dates from 53 seem to be either in September, or two months apart. And neither suggested date is the 13th. So I'm not sure what to make of it all.

Why is Iceland being targetted like this?

I don't think there is much to make of it. The dates are either an Americanised 9th and 11th of September, or this Sunday just gone and the 9th of November. Only the latter makes any sense in terms of his prediction of a massive geological trauma in Iceland in November.

He is unequivocal in his middle sentence, both that 'they' created the magma wave this morning and that 'they' are going to 'blow the big Katla' in November in order to disrupt Iceland. Quite why 'they' have got it in for Iceland is, as you suggest, a major mystery that only he can enlighten us on. Neither do I understand how or why the subsequent catastrophe could be blamed on the eclipse.

It's a bit like the Ricky McCormick case. There is a natural inclination to find meaning in apparently complex human constructs, but when it evades all attempts at interpretation, eventually you have to come to the conclusion that it's just raving.

Perhaps 'they' are planting the explosives during the eclipse, ready to set off the 'big Katla'.

That'll give 'em around 5 minutes to get into Iceland, prime their kit and vacate again. However, given how immigration control can be, 'they' probably wouldn't get pass baggage checks before everything blew up.

Or something.

In fact I'm getting bored of trying to interpret the writings of a loon, as you said it's probably down to raving-ness. So, here's a nice poem I wrote:

I'm eating a bowl o' porridge.
Chopped banana,
But no raisins.
The postman's late today.

Iceland is a target cos they refused to bail out their banks - 'they' are global financiers don'cha'know - it's always about the money

do wonder how he knows they're monitoring this thread though, I guess they monitor everything he's involved in...

At least everybody will be looking up if they have to drill holes into the earth's core discreetly.

Thank you for your poem. I had toast & Bovril.

What does Bovril taste of? In my mind, it's a sort of fortified malty gravy. Which has always put me off ever trying it. :C
