Same here, and free space is always something I try to gobble up when they offer it.

On a related note, did you know you can do the same thing with Google Plus?

Yeah, I noticed the auto-upload feature but wasn't too sure how it worked since I'm sure I enabled it by accident and a photo ended up on my stream. After checking I realised I could change the privacy to private or whatever but does it leave the photo in a folder on my computer ready for upload/copying/editing elsewhere?

It puts them in a folder online in Picasa and lets you do what you want with them from there.

I thought they were private by default. Mine were when I tested, but I've turned that off.

Hmm, they may have been, but I think I panicked!

I did the same thing. I had a friend check my stream to make sure they weren't showing up there!

Well I did a lot of 1080p filming on my phone yesterday to test a few things and the videos have been autouploading to Dropbox. I like seeing my space increase. Currently at 10.5GB and rising!

I did that earlier. I'm up to 15GB. Sad really since I use about 2.

I'm using about 5GB of the 10.5GB but only because there's 4.17GB of video footage on there, which will be getting deleted shortly.
