You'll need a salinometer, then.

Harsh :'(
(but fair)

Well done that man.

But I reckon the PB salty sailor scale might be more accurate.

The salinometer isn't the scale, it's the device for measuring the salinity. You can still make your own scale.

:-$ Oh right.

Then we just need to decide where to stick the device:

PETER... WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE US TO STICK THIS?

That's a terrible photograph.

Have you got one that's in focus and shows how big that thing is?

No idea what size it is - I'm assuming it's inflatable to cope with the variances in your tubes. :|

So two weeks from now we'll all be meating (except for those that slink off early).

Are there really only going to be a dozen people there?

Can't a few more of you make a bit of an effort?

I'm going to be in North Wales so can't even promise to try and get there this time.

You can stop in Manchester and pick up Ant.

Between the two of you there should be no problem kidnapping Xen and bringing him down here, and you can go via Luton and get EP too.

Fair enough. Not sure the rest of us could manage a drunken ramble of that distance - was hard enough going a few blocks. :/

I like the plan, but I'd estimate Ant's roughly 11.5 -12 stone. That's more than my body weight, so even with the best intentions I'd only be able to piggyback back him as far as Salford. :C

More like 13 at the moment. Probably only get to Whitefield then.

Shit.

If you only had PB's proportions and body mass... I reckon we could make it down to Chester on the first day easily.

It might be easier if I went down to London town and gave PB a piggy back up here. Everyone else will need to sort out their own piggybackers.
