As you can see I'm wearing the same hat as the first Christmas meat, which I believe was 10 years ago.

Just back from visiting Laura Isabella, according to Facebook...

Someone had an idea a while back of doing a camp meat in the Midlands / Lake District.

 

Which would be excellent to do, especially if it was a long weekend thing.

 

Milko and Greg could go biking together.
Mouse and Dyl could go minstrelling together.
Kos and Kenny could go scottishing together.
Manthorp and William could go old together.
Xen and Jay could hide inside together.
Dan and Paul could go car mad together.
Caer and Steve could go photoing together.
Wattsy and Jesus could go dadding together.
Fozza and Richard could go gadgeting together.

 

And we'd all have a really awesome time.

Best Meat Ever!

I was looking forward to seeing all the pictures and living vicariously through you. How sad!

A Midlands meat would be great but not before I'm back down there In February-March time.

For some reason I've got April 14th in my head, which happens to be a Saturday.

 

Don't know where the date came from - nothing in my calendar for that date, nor anything coming up in searches.

 

Could set that as a provisional meat date, and then there's four months to encourage as many lazy buggers as possible to get their arse somewhere for that day/weekend.

That's what happens when you leave things to a bunch of southern pansies. "Ooooh, I've split my nails".

You know how off putting the bright sun can be to PB's TFT optimised eyes, don't you?!

It's been ages since we did a Northern Meat. April's no use to me, so I vote for March or May, but not the bank holiday weekend.

 

When's Easter? We should avoid it too.

I'll be very busy in March and probably April but May may be alright.
