Aye but I've found food is a bit pointless when one has a heal spell. So I heal them instead, to repay them for all the tasty meat.

Is anyone playin as an Argonian, or interacted with many Argonians? I ask because i've just come across a few and the lizard skin texture isn't showing, just a bright purple. I don't know if that's just me or not.

I was doing a puppet show for that dude with a troll skull. He didn't seem impressed though.

I've interacted with (killed) some. Their textures were fine. Are you sure it's not a bright purple Argonian? :Y

I've just been doing a bit of googling and have only seen one other mention of missing textures like this. (EDIT: having re-googled with the correct spelling of "texture", i've seen quite a lot more mentions of it.) Oh well. I've seen surprisingly few bugs so far*, so i'll let it off.

*Although one of them was a pretty annoying one. When you escape the dragon in the opening sequence then get tasked to go to the little town and speak some woman, the woman didn't have the conversation option to advance the quest. I had to use the developer console to tell the game that i'd spoken to her otherwise the main quest would have been unaccessible.

Hmm. I just left the area to go and threaten someone, went back to tell teh Argonian and collect my payment, and the textures were working fine. Oddness.

Hey, it wouldn't be a Bethesda game if it didn't have such gameplay breaking bugs.

The Dark Brotherhood armour makes my Orc look really, really gay.

Oh God, your companions can die. I feel so guilty about running away and leaving Lydia (awful name, though) to face that bastard thing alone.

quote: some page found after putting "skyrim screenshot key" into a search engine
In addition to the Steam screenshot function (F12), Skyrim actually has its own screenshot key, mapped to "Print Screen" by default.

Thanks for that. Now if you could be so kind as to find out where it saves the resulting screenshots, i'll be ready to go.

It's almost certainly in your user folder.

C:\User\MrTrent\Skyrim\Screenshots or C:\User\MrTrent\AppData\Roaming\Valve\Steam\Screenshots or something

You can go find the actual location yourself though.

This is Marcus, the gayest orc in Skyrim.
EDIT: You may notice i named the files the wrong way round. If you do notice, you don't need to point it out 'cos i already know.

I didn't notice, so you wasted your time writing all that stuff.

He does look particularly bad. And not really 3D either. :/

Also: two belts??

Heh. Same here, and I picked a similar spot to take a screenshot from. And then you beat me to posting it.

In fact, I'm going to post it anyway. Let me find something to reduce the 5MB screenshot to something a bit more polite.
