I think it'd also be doing better if the miners had adopted the tactic of finding minerals, pressing the "Use" key, nipping off to the john, then coming back to find an inventory full of iron ore. But no. They had to mess around with all these hard hats with little lights on and all the rest of the unnecessary baggage didn't they.

I bet they also levelled up their health* at every opportunity rather than their stamina, meaning they couldn't carry much more than a couple of loads of coal at any one time.

* - Has to be health as I don't remember many magic-using miners

If only Bethesda had been around in Thatcher's day. We'd still be using the Flying Scotsman.

I do like that. I've just updated to 1.3 from the unpatched version so I can use it now (SKSE needs 1.3 or higher). Much easier to see lots of items in the inventory.

I like it as well. I did find the default font size a bit too small actually, but it's easily tweakable in one of the mod's ini files.

I keep on forgetting to launch the game via SKSE, but although I get a message saying that there's a problem, I only get it the first time I open my inventory, and the mod still works flawlessly.

I have two pinned icons in my taskbat for Skyrim, one the standard launcher so I can change options and one for SKSE. Is there anything else useful that SKSE can do?

Not by itself that I'm aware of, it simply adds additional power and capabilities that mods can exploit. AFAIK.

Categorizsed Favourites Menu!

I think someone emntioned many posts ago that equipping items to both hands should be easier. This lets you create equipment sets to switch between! Now I can switch between bow/armour/archery items and magicka items/magic hands. Woo.

Still have to favourite all items that are in sets and have to bring up the favourites menu to equip them. Nice though.

That looks pretty good - one click switching from thief/sneak mode, to archer mode, to smithing mode, to bartering mode etc.

Just updated to 1.4 and the game is running much smoother than it was before. I can now get over 50FPS in the most demanding places at the Ultra setting - over 20FPS difference!!

It's actually made the game enjoyable to play now.

Oooh! It was running like a pig recently for me, I'll have to try the update. I'd actually got to the stage of fast-travelling, purely because the frame rate was too shit to travel the proper way.

Definitely made a difference, which is nice. I still have to run the game windowed to stop the ATI graphics card stuttering problem. Not a problem though.

Also fixed a quest I had a problem with so I can find the word wall it was supposed to be directing me to now.

Mods mods mods!

The creation kit came out yesterday. There are 300 already. Admittedly some of those are just BIGGER GIANTS, but still.
