Not sure I follow you. But yes each PC has a VGA and a DVI-D. But the monitors only have VGA ports.

So I can't power dual monitors without a converter or a video card added in. I suppose I could be blamed for this oversite, but I've honestly never come across something like this.

We are moving to a paperless system and all documents will be viewed by computer. They wanted one for documents, one for the software we use.

Ahh, I gets you. Of course, the other question is why on earth you're still buying (in 2011) monitors with only VGA ports. All the ones I've bought for the last 5 years or more have had both VGA and DVI ports on them - and that includes the cheap ones at work!

 

Still, looks like your only options are to replace some of the monitors with DVI supporting screens, or buy some graphics cards which support dual analogue outputs.

I was working with a company and just told them the size I needed. It never crossed my mind that they wouldn't have both ports on them.
