I'm fairly new to this whole web design thing (never been much of a code monkey) so I've been looking round for examples of galleries I can pilfer and turn to my own means.
Found a nice sliding one that shows one image at a time but slides to the next image when a link's clicked.
It being java/jquery based is just a coincedence, it's what I found on the 'net as a tutorial and used that. Is there a better way of doing it?!
Are you sure it's Java, and not JavaScript? They are not at all the same thing.
Also, if you ask nicely I might add Previous/Next buttons to my QuickSlide image viewer thing.
:-$ Could be, could be. I'm not up to speed with all the differences!
I like the quickslide thing you've done - that'd be ace for my photo/drawing gallery pages. Some buttons would be an appreciated addition!
Payment could come in the form of chocolate or flattery, which ever you prefer. :)
Sorry, Pete. Hijacked your thread there before you'd had a chance to elucidate. :-O
What troubles are you having?
I've just uploaded the new QuickSlide files to replace my old ones and I've broken it.
Before I start digging any ideas?
