Yeah, think it's a combination of some mild hayfever and a cold I've caught off of the boy.

Damn virulent kids!

I'll watch your video tonight when I've got some sound!

Very good - you should definitely eat the pork scratchings, though.

I reckon mouse should share Kens address, and every forumite should pledge to buy an extra black pudding on every supermarket trip and post it off to him until he tries one.

Thanks everyone and Mouse for sending us candy. I'll round up the kids after work and we will do some tasting!

:) I wish I had an accent like Kenny. I was going to try it on the video but I'm afraid I'd have scared everyone away!

Someone seems to have drilled holes in your walls. I'd have words with them about that, if I were you.

That is my "shop". I used to run a full time computer repair business. These days I just do it as needed. It is in need of a major remodel but I don't have the funds for it right now.

Never let kids run the camera. Tomorrows /has/ to be better! And my daughter wants to try some with us then.

Edit. I can't get any youtube to embed at all. Using the new link deal or the embed code. Grr.

So here's the link.

Get a tripod/stand/whatever so nobody needs to hold it, and you can eat together and we can watch your expressions. :P

I'm gonna have my wife hold it for us, she just got braces and now refuses to join us.

Braces for teeth or for trousers?

If the latter, I can understand her not wanting to be seen; they're a strange and terrible contraption, no idea why anyone would wear them - but there's no reason not to eat chocolate with a half metal mouth. What's she worried about? There are no anti-aug protesters here? :P

The former. And she just got them last week and is having a very hard time eating anything but ice cream. She's wanted them for years and now all I hear is bitching about how bad they hurt. Women are never happy man!

You sure it isn't just an excuse to eat lots of icecream?

I didn't know they did braces for adults, thought only kids/teenagers had them.

Tell her it hurts more being punched in the mouth*, so stop moaning or you might prove it. (Or maybe don't, since she might demonstrate on you... at least wait until you've eaten the chocolate.) :P

* I don't know if it actually does, since I've never had either done to me. I'm just guessing.

They will give them to whoever is willing to pay for them I suppose. Both my kids have them and so does the wife. $9000 worth of metal in mouths around here!

And I think it would hurt me just as much as her, I can't imagine the pain of punching someone with braces!

Yikes, that's a lot. Pretty sure they're not even close over here. Hooray for NHS!

Yay! Yorkies are big, I think that's why they're not for girls.

The secret of the Ripple is there's lots of surface area so you get a more intense hit of chocolate. And definitely heard a "It's better then Hersheys"

So, 5-3 I believe. Good work. Your kid seems like a gent.

Apparently it can be free for kids on the NHS here but not for much longer (is the rumour) unless there are medical reasons for it. I suspect that adults would have to pay and based on the fact that my bridge cost over £500, I would say that a set of braces for an adult would probably run to well over a couple of thousand. Very hard for adults to get NHS dental treatment in a lot of places here now.
