I can't be bothered figured out what you're saying there; I'm hungry and have stuff to do.

The JAR provided was an executable one. Unless someone explicitly said "don't treat this as an executable" (which wasn't done because there's no functionality to do that on Beehive's attachment page) then it should have been detected as an executable and passed down the chain to the browser which should have said "this is an executable jar, run or save?"

And what it definitely shouldn't have done is tacked on a .zip extension, because it already has a valid extension, (and because it isn't a pure zip).

And now I'm going to go eat and not let myself get distracted so I can get stuff finished. :@

Usually indicates hardware error, often memory.

There is a registry setting you can change to make Windows display the driver filename in the BSOD to help narrow down where the problem is.

If I remember correctly you had problems with the RAM when you installed Windows didn't you? My money would be on it being at fault.

Back up on 2GB of RAM for now. Let's see what happens.

I have worked out how to make that dynamic map thing work - it likes light - if you put down a torch a whole area clears - seems to stay visable if you take the torch with you too

Does visiting an area with an existing torch work, or is it the act of placing the torch that seems to do it?

In either case it does seem slightly odd the areas that are currently displayed. :/

seems to be the actual placing that does it - I had two windows open and saw it realtime

odd areas are mostly cos I was wondering about - but some arent my doing

Can you see the web-based chat messages in-game, or is that stupid owl ignoring me?

Oh and ... probably a Kos question... is there a way to make the chat history stick around for a bit longer?

I wanted you to add a torch where you were, to see if it made the block not black. :(

Kos said something to me and Ant, implying he could see people not in the actual game - though I didn't see a message from Ant (hence wanting a longer history).

Ahhh :(

Do you know who built that lava lamp?

Nope.

It didn't exist this time last week, but that doesn't narrow it down much. :S

Haha, I was watching the little heads moving about, and thinking "huh? why did Matt suddenly jump over there", and then thinking "eh, why is someone putting a bunch of bricks in the swimming pool?" and then I went "meh" and looked back at plates, and after a bit in the corner of my eye I saw a weird thing, and I looked and all the "bricks" had gone, along with a bunch of surrounding blocks. :D

Now everyone has gone offline or afk though, so I've got nothing to watch. :(

:-D
The glowstone lava doesn't look as good as I'd hoped, but I'm not going back and changing it now, I already drowned enough times filling it with water.

That was probably me and my 128 blocks of TNT, trying to "dig" the other end of the pool out.

It's going to take a while. I think getting a block editing plugin might be easier as there is a lot of obsidian at the bottom and some stray bedrock blocks floating in mid-air :(

Bah, that guy who did the Chichen Itza temple cleared a much bigger area! And without using dynamite!
