Teh Mine

What size does a piece have to be before it starts/stops being you?

I'm assuming a trimmed nail isn't considered "you". What about a finger?

So Teh Mine Server hasn't crashed yet?!?!?!

I'm impressed with my handiwork.

*VNCs in to make sure*

Why would it crash? 'Tis sitting idle most of the time. :'S

Jesus..... the computer has been up since the 26th March. Well done Windows XP.

Oh - didn't realise it was Windows... Four months is very impressive!

It's only doing 2 things...

1. Hosting Teh Mine
2. Playing an audio stream every night to populate my EPG.

So it's not under any real stress. Especially since Teh Mine is empty :'S

But still impressive for XP.

Anyway, I need to go to bed. I'm in Brugge and need to drive to Lille in the morning. Only an hour though.

Is there actually anything to do in Lille besides being shot outside a nightclub?

I still visit occasionally, but started a huge building I can't gather enough materials to finish (well, not fast enough)

Undecided on that - I can imagine it being a pain to place/orient consistently since presumably placing on floor/wall will act differently?

They place the same as pistons, where the "end" (chopped side) faces toward you when you place it. It can be a little fiddly when you want to place them vertically but it provides a lot of nice options for building, especially with all the different wood types they added recently.

Yeah, pistons are a pain in the arse to place - especially if trying to do vertically in a restricted space.

They really should do it so there's a rotate key or something.

Teh mine isn't always empty, I've been on there a lot working on my Helm's Deep project oop norf, and flattening out a desert for my next project.

I could do with having some more bones in the spawn boxes, there were none left when I joined, and I feel like the only person without a doggy sat in their house.

(Maybe some eyes of ender too, I'm curious to see if teh server generated any strongholds in the new terrain.)

not exactly what you asked for, but a quick trip to the 2012 world might get you some bones, there's loads of skeletons about (and all the other mobs)

oh, safe house near the spawn point too, in case you turn up at night ;)

It was you that said you had a server running Tekkit right? If that still exists, could I have a go on it? I'm looking at the list of mods and what they do but it's way too much to take in without being able to play with it all.

Yep.

try connecting to mischiefcollective.com

If you build anything, build it away from the 'village' area.

You should clearly be able to see the huge square of the village. So build around -110, -396 or something

Maybe wait a few days for the inevitable patches, so you save yourself some work?
