In two weeks, version 1.0 is due.
Aside from all the new bugs, there might be dragons. :D
Like anyone will give a shit for 6 months after Skyrim comes out :Y
I unplugged for awhile. And I'm staying a bit conservative. If I don't get enough sleep it ruins my brain (what's left) and I can't live like that anymore. So things had to change a bit. I'm sure I'll play something when the stupid snow shows up.
Dragons? Why not make something useful, like an easy way to make a circle?
What version are we on now?!
I agree with that actually. Minecraft isn't an RPG and would be a very shit one. It's a building/exploring game. Make /that/ more fun.
You sound surprised to agree with me!
Of course, you are American.
True! But still, sometimes I say something that makes sense.
Yes but I think it's by accident. Like a million monkeys at a million typewriters.
Oh, that's low man, very low.
Have you seen Skyrim's PC requirements? They're quite depressingly average :( Only 6GB HDD space required, which makes me go :-&
The recommended specs are pretty hardcore by current standards (held back by consoles, as they are).
Time should be sorted. And we're onto the new permissions system after an upgrade, not that anyone should notice any difference.
0.8.something
Notch says he's skipping 0.9 (which would otherwise have been released in the past week) because he doesn't want to try to squeeze in another real release he doesn't really know what he's doing.
Dragons are cool because:
- they're huge
- they fly
- they hoard treasure
- they live in huge caves
- they have scales stronger than diamond
maybe.
All depends whether he implements them properly, and sufficiently rarely, to make it exciting to go hunting for them, and an achievement to find/defeat one.
Skyrim? That's the other game Mojang are making, with cards and shit, right?
I thought we were 0.8 whatever. Makes sense now.
