Nothing has really changed connection wise my end. Stupid update.

I couldn't exactly say why, but I get the impression it's a memory issue
I don't think minecraft is incredibly well put together

ah, not your end, when mine crashes it says stuff about memory etc

I get "connection lost" or "end of stream" or "server not found"

I have a lot of trouble getting minecraft to work at all since the 1.8 update

this morning it will not connect to mojang properly, I can log in but then it freezes

it won't shut down either - even after I tried to kill it with task-manager it's still sitting there

Right, I've done an update of the server and some plugins. Seems to be a more stable release now.

 

I've managed to login straight away from work with no issues so far. I know my internet connection at work is super rapid but the server is still on the same connection.

 

Hopefully things will have improved.
