Only plugin I could update was Essentials. The rest are on older versions. DynMap seems to still be working.

A lot of my chests are black, they work, but they're a bit funny.

 

I don't light the lighting underground, everything has got a yellow hue and viewing distance has been shortened greatly underground.

Also, why the fuck is it raining where it should be snowing?

Nothing has really changed connection wise my end. Stupid update.

I couldn't exactly say why, but I get the impression it's a memory issue
I don't think minecraft is incredibly well put together

I still cannot stay connected to the server. Or I cannot connect to the server.

 

I get "connection lost" or "end of stream" or "server not found"

 

Is anyone else still there?? Should I care??? I really only want to play with other people.

I have a lot of trouble getting minecraft to work at all since the 1.8 update

this morning it will not connect to mojang properly, I can log in but then it freezes

it won't shut down either - even after I tried to kill it with task-manager it's still sitting there
