Teh Mine's server spec is listed in Post 1 (msg:38140.1) if you want to get an idea of the speed required for the performance we get. The CPU is never maxed, the only thing I could do with doing is upgrading the RAM.

The chat log hadn't been working for a few days but that's now working too.

Yeah, I sorted that earlier today. Online players is still dead though, not sorted that yet.

That's a big hole! All dug, or was TNT used too?

 

Also, I now don't feel like I've used too much lava, if anything I've been quite skimpy in its use!

The hole was all dug. I think I used about 5 or 6 TNTs which really didn't make much impact. If you look in the hole at the stair/pyramid shape the first screenshots are under that so removing 1 layer of blocks will open the whole thing right up.

 

I did get bored of the hole and started playing around with other stuff in between digs. Had 9 buckets of lava at a time to do all that and only killed myself once :)

Are you going to do anything with the massive hole?

I keep raiding your hole from time to time, there's a lot of redstone and iron ore goodness in there. I've also dug the odd trench. (nod)

Dig away as much as you can, it's taken weeks to get to where it is so every little helps :)

I've done a bit on the north side - taken a bit down to the bed rock, it's kinda theraputic just digging away late at night.

Yay, thank you. Can't wait to finish it. Coming up to half way soon I think. I don't mind digging away at it for a bit for it was getting very boring just doing that every time I was on there - needed a break to do something else and lava was a fun pastime.
