I can enable or disable commands as required. Using the Groups function of hmod. At least I can do all that in theory. Need to reread the stuff now I have a better understanding of how hmod works.

I should probably stop playing with the time so much :$

nah, the dark is just annoying when in building mode
just, if we're going to have monsters sometimes it seems harsh to be able to kill them all by changing the time

That's true, I tend to be building when I change it. Now I know how to cheat and build a bit easier I think I should build something a bit more substantial!

So when I find a huge cave network with two chests, a fire, some lava and a lot of water but with no torches, I assume that's premade and not by someone?

Sounds like you found a dungeon! is there a cage with a pig in it? If so its a dungeon abstract its generated by the game :)

Next time a map is uploaded can it also be as a JPEG?

Keep the PNGs to keep Peter happy but they're taking forever to download.

the PNGs are "down" to about 6MB now

I can make it auto-convert to JPG, so we can have both options available.

Remind me at some point this evening.

Hmm, server must be being slow, they were taking ages to load.

presumably it'll keep the same filename but change the extension to .jpg? I'll add a PNG : JPEG link to the index if that's the case.

Right, got a bid on some RAM on eBay (currently at 15 quid, ends in 15 minutes or so).

If that falls through I've negotiated a deal with Wee Dave for 4GB for £35 + the return of his sledges and hoodie which are still in the boot of my car from winter.

Oo, I'm pleased to see that my dam looks more or less dam-shaped when seen from space, even if it is the wrong way round :$

(well, there's no way I'm going to hollow out the ENTIRE SEA on the concave side :C )
