Down to 2 secs now. NO SPAMING etc etc.

 

Though I can't yet find the setting to increase the length of time the messages show for. I've tried a couple of settings but it's still about 15 seconds per message.

The mini-site chat thing is now working fairly well and there's an online players list as well. Both refresh every 20 seconds.

Even if I divide the size by two it's still longer than my wall :'D (and a 25m wide moat around the outside will be... an interesting challenge)

Dunno what was up with the other thing... either a corrupt upload or a server issue I guess. :/

I kinda wanted to at least do the outline, until I realised it's bigger than most of the landmasses in Minecraft.

Fairly sure Assassinmaster00 has taken my portal block. I only have it because I gave it to myself (HAX etc) but I'd rather it not be around to fuck up the nethergate system.

 

I saw he had it earlier, told him to put it back, which he did, but it's gone now.

Yeah, he was apparently going to dig some sand out of graphitone's thing until otherMatt told him not to.

Part of the problem is... I can't work out whether he's just being a dick or whether he doesn't understand that he's being a dick or what.

I've spoken to him and he's perfectly friendly and not an asshole or anything in conversation. But... he doesn't stop doing these things after being told.

Exactly, I clearly told him to put it back as he was checking my chests, he put it back but I suspect he's come back to take it when I logged out. Unless you knew it was there you wouldn't take it and no one else has been around.

 

So yeah, he's been told a number of times.

 

I think it's a case of "it's a game" so it doesn't matter. Whereas we see it a bit more serious than that due to the amount of time we invest in it. That might make us the people with the issues but that's far from the point.

He deserves a last warning I guess. Tell him if there's even a whiff of him nicking/breaking anything else he's banned?

He should also come on our Hangouts.

Next time I see him I'll warn him.

Is there any kind of permissions you can set whereby he's unable to take things from chests?

And now I'm imagining some kind of redstone/button/piston combination lock monstrosity.

I'll have a look, not sure if it can get that specific, since chests aren't owned by anyone and it'd probably mean he couldn't use his own chests.
