Actually that'd be really awesome - some form of rotating thing. Not sure how it'd work in a cube-based world, mind. Maybe only rotating at 90° intervals?

I would like stone to be as quick to mine as dirt or sand so I don't spend the rest of my life digging out my hole.

Someone mentioned bones - in a world without mobs, how do we get bones, string, gunpowder etc?

You ask for them and me or Jon pops them in some of the chests at /spawn

A week or so ago - the chests in the small house and under the floating island went empty - not a huge deal, they were mostly full of less valuable items (sand cobblestone etc).

 

Then this past weekend, the chests in my big house went empty - all the more valuable stuff I dont store in the little house. Jon and Xen were kind enough to give me some diamonds and other things and I've mined a lot the last two days so no worries about most of it. Mainly the bones, about 50 diamonds and 4 full stacks of brown wool made me very sad to lose.

 

I should note, I was in the chests, then went out and about for about an hour. When I came back they were empty - I was ingame and no one was lurking about my house or anything - I'd definitely say its a glitch.

 

Interestingly, the chests in the little house and under the island are fairly far apart, but on the same level, and they went empty at the same time. Yet the ones is the big house and under the floating island (close together but on differacnt levels) did not.

Oohh, any chance of some gunpowder/TNT? I found a little gunpowder in some dungeons but only enough for two TNTs.

I won't be giving TNT but I will give gunpowder.

That would be lovely if I could have some of that :D
