I might log on and destroy some mine cart tracks like they're looms.

I apologise if this upsets anyone but I have initiated a full render of the current map. This means places that have been previously explored will show on the online map even if they haven't had a torch placed.

IT UPSETS ME :@ That you didn't do it sooner. :P

Did you get anywhere with /time ?
Ken pointed out that Jon could do it, so might be admin/permissions related?

Yeah it is an admin thing but you guys already have the priv to change time, you also have the priv to change weather which is still working.

I've only just discovered I could do a full map render. I was trying to find out if I could have a smaller/further out zoom level to give a larger view of the map.

I've also changed the render triggers so hopefully the online map will render new chunks when people discover them

When the next version comes out and brings in the new caverns and stuff, would it be possible to trim the unused extremities on the map so that we can discover new bits without spending 4 hours walking first? It would make clay a bit easier to find, too.

Certainly possible to do. I guess I'll need a world editor!

Mind you, I'm just waiting for Drew to start complaining about the very idea.

Since that bastard is being all agreeable, I'll have to complain about it. :P

Stop whining!

Just get a couple of portals setup, or maybe a distant warp point, so you can jump straight out in the wilderness and go find things.

You've changed.

Aye, not sure what's happened. I've reloaded permissions with and without time but there's been no improvement.

Have you looked into the possibility of each person having two warp points (i.e. a "/away" as well as existing "/home")?

Also, can't remember if it was suggested before, but a "/spawn" might be handy too?

I'll add to the count by bitching about pistons. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't.
