I set the world to night to see but it doesn't stay night for long - I think someone else was needing it to be day

Aye, Kev and I were in that area yesterday and the upright maze thing looked impressive even before the lava. I think I said it looked like some alien artefact. With the lava it just looks amazing.

Permissions. I hadn't setup the permissions in the nether like I had in the normal world so nobody could build :$

Yeah you can make groups so you can let people on the server to wander round and have a look but not be able to build/destroy.

That's pretty special - Jon, how much planning did that take, was it built from the ground up?

you can't 'go around' that maze, it's upright

there is another close by that is horizontal that can be explored (and doesn't have lava)

it was built by printing out the pic of a maze koz posted on here and adding a grid pattern - the up right one was built one row at a time from the ground up, with a center section of sand (to stand on) which is where the lava is now

How do you go about filling it with lava? Is it a case of getting it poured in from the top and it fills all available space?
