Since 1.7 is apparently a long way off, you should sneak around some of the existing beaches and place clay blocks, so people that want that can go hunting for it.

How do I get to the nether?

Go through a portal or build a portal.

Do we have them somewhere? If so I need to look around. I spend about 95% of my time underground.

I think someone has built some. Build one yourself.

I'll have to find the stuff first. I did see some purplish stuff the other day. I'll have to find it tonight.

Good job on the mods too!

there is a portal in Drew's basement
and another way off to the east
and a road between the two, in the nether!

If there's anything someone really wants (apart from the obvious warps, tp etc) I'll have a look.

I hope you notice that I'm not asking for a kit, again. Nazi.

What kit did you want? Diamond tools?

Go dig for diamonds like the rest of us and lose them in lava :((

Whoa, I can send someone mail?

I don't want any kit. I wouldn't dream of asking for a kit.

Or going near lava, when I've found some diamonds. That would just be silly.

You can, but it's all effectively done by command line. And, speaking as a Cisco engineer, that's a pain in the arse.

Hmm, plus we'd need to craft a mailbox and I don't know how to do that!

Yeah we can but let's not. Pain in the arse as Patch says.

Assuming it's possible (it's not in that "essentials" list), would people be in favour of either:

* disabling rain completely

or

* restricting it to just a few hours, not days?

?
