I've been busy. Not sure I'm into all this Eden shit.

Might start making La Défense. With a minecart track over it, obviously.

I've worked there. Make sure you build the hotel inside it. And the underground conference rooms. And La Grande Arche. And the bit round the back where I'd sneak off for a cigarette.

Me either. My skills tend to lie in digging and clearing :$ and that's already been sorted.

Burgh. Complex. Might just start with the grand arch and are how it goes.

Grande Arch and one big path as the Axe historique.

Wiki - "The Arche is almost a perfect cube (width: 108m, height: 110m, depth: 112m); it has been suggested that the structure looks like a four-dimensional hypercube (a tesseract) projected onto the three-dimensional world"

Or "a cube with the middle bits missing".

It's not even straight. That diagram from earlier says that it is, but if you stand under it and look out, the Arc de Triomphe is off to the left, but not far enough to the left to make it look deliberate. It's as if they got someone like me to put down the bits of string as guidelines before they started building.

Maybe they got someone /exactly/ like you in to do just that. You said you'd worked there, maybe them Frenchies did a bit of design outsourcing.

So, how long was that bit o' string to reach the Arc de Triomphe? Must be a good mile or two?
