There seems to be some bugs with the server, it keep smaking things dissapear :S

Could just be lag though. Latency seems to be /realllly/ important.

Oh wait - are you doing stuff near the spawn? You can't build stuff near the spawn in MP.

I DIDN'T DO THAT AT ALL. I did really.

Are you trying to build near the spawn point? Because that area's normally protected.

Then how about.. playing Stalker or WoW? :-@

Hmm, like I said in game in lags like crazy for me. Like 30 seconds up top several minutes between me doing something and it actually happening (including sending messages).

If I ping that IP outside the game it just times out. Might not have ICMP enabled though?

No, it was more to do with large areas of ground vanishing in front of us - massive 20x20ish empty blocks straight down, but that you can walk on the top of :D

... and now it's fine. But I'm getting dicked by a spider.

Be nice to have some mods on there. The teleport mod is particular is nice.

Sounds like a missing chunk.

It's multiplayer! it's difffferent!

Odd. I could see your messages when you said them on the server, but they didn't appear in game for /ages/. That would suggest the PC running the server was slowing up, but the server was only using 400 meg of RAM and CPU usage never went over about 60%.

 

My router looks like it might have been going a bit crazy, though. Showing only 2% of RAM available :S

And yeah, my router doesn't respond to external pings.

Yeah, seems to be fine until there's 3> people there then the lag goes crazy :(

THink it could be my router... or my PC. Or the fact that this is all done in fucking Java :@
