Much more high-tech. Just what I'd expect of you. Mr Wogster. Nice to see you didn't let me down!

Nothing so exciting - just a spreadsheet with a few basic formulas.

Here's a thermometer for confirmed received payments:

Can you PM me some Paypal details and I'll send a few bob.

(I've forgotten 1 of the half dozen passwords for my online banking and am far too lazy to go into the branch)

You better do, or I'll send the boysTrigger round. ;)

Nah, there's a fair few people who have said they'll pay and haven't yet - if the average amount of donations stays the same it should work out, once those people do actually pay.

dave: Done.

Done. I sent £20 since I didn't send my £10 last year.

Also - To All : Should I have been able to do this by going into my NatWest branch and asking them to transfer £20 from my account to Peter's Barclays account?

The woman told me no and that I needed a Barclays credit slip or something and that a BACs would cost me, so I should just go to the Barclays branch and put it in there, which I did, but I'm sure she is wrong.

I would've done it online but my online banking is shitted up for bank transfers, but surely that would've been free if I had've?

Oh, also, Manthorp : You have that £15 I owed you from eons ago on its jolly way to you.

She is wrong (fail) , you should have been able to do it. We transfer money between my (Barclays) and my wifes (LloydsTSB) and vice versa with no problem. The only time I have paid a charge was for an inernational bank transfer to Sweden last year.

I thought so, stupid woman.

I was thinking surely that's the whole point of BACs transfers.

If I have to transfer money into someone elses account I'll just get the cash out of my account then go into their bank and fill in a paying in slip with their details like I would do with my own account.

Well yes, this is how I have done it, but I was sure I could do it all within my own bank. It meant walking across town to two different banks when I was in a bit of a rush.

But that also reminds me, I must sort out my online banking.

Fair enough. Kind of lucky where I work in that every major bank is next to eachother in town.

Doesn't really matter these days as I have all my online banking set up properly now. Handy for times like these when I'm waiting for my wages to go in so I can spend them instantly!

Isn't it Chaps, the instant transfer service, that costs money. I'm sure we had to use that when transfering money for the mortgage and there was a charge. The other one is fre but takes a few days.
