I will be driving up by car and could ferry up to four people from and to Skipton railway station, assuming their camping requisites will fit more or less on their laps.

I will not be partaking due to the forthcoming addition to the family.

 

Wouldn't be fair on the Mrs.

Ooh, this idea all seems rather fun. I've not camped since I was about 13, so it should be hideous quite interesting. Dates look alright too. Would need to run it past the missus (who I think will find the prospect scary on many levels)

So I think that all amounts to a "maybe" for me.

Hmm, I may not frequent the forum much these days, but the thought of shitting in a field appears to have brought me crawling out of woodwork...

Hurrah! I'm thinking that date is a goer now. I shall start putting together a guest type list in a bit.

Everybody should bring a disposable barbie and a bit more food than they can comfortably eat. Then we can have a mass supper.

Also, we should book early to avoid disappointment.

AARRRRGH! That's Glastonbury Festival weekend :'(

I suspect that we should change our weekend, then.

I picked that because it's a bank holiday I think... but what about weekend before.

 

20th / 21st / 22nd (Fri, Sat, Sun) of June?

 

Couldn't make the 20th myself but could do 21st and could maybe get Monday off to do 22nd night.

I'll bring 5 loaves of home-made bread and maybe a couple of fish.

I will pop across one of the days with teh clan to see everyone.

 

I'd come and stay but camping with a 10 week old baby will not be practical.

After ten weeks with a new baby, a couple of nights in a field are going to seem like luxury.

Ahh, but the 2 nights in a tent would be with the baby, wife & 2 kids.

Just bring the 2 kids and give Gaye quality time with the babbit.

I think that will be what we do.
