What's the current state of play with this? My calendar at work is getting full and my leave days are reducing - so I need to book it off soon if it's anything like a definite.

I've timetabled it in, so it's by definition an event worth attending.

Meh - I'm still uncertain.

 

It's a long way to go if the numbers are tiny, and combine that with a lot of uncertainty at work (about many things, including the future of my department - oh the irony) means I'm a definite maybe.

I reckon still on, maybe could transform it into a more traditional historic York meat if that's more popular amongst the throng.

My only problem with York is that it has a late night hat shop :((

Aye, seconded by me: if the time commitment and the complexities of the Malham Meat are making it difficult, then let's consider a good old-fashioned York one.

I can put up a couple of tents in the backyard of Manthorp Mansions for the die-hards.

I suspect that the hat shop was only open for Christmas consumers last time. The only late night shopping I reckon you'll do there in summer will be with the help of a brick.

I'd recommend half bricks, they're easier to carry and pack easier.
