Waahh wierdness!!

When I log on through my desktop PC I get forum goodness and all is well.

When I log on through my laptop - same url - www.tehforum.co.uk/forum I get a load of BOLLOX from 123.reg about how this address is registered for a client. This is not well.

So is it working after flushing?

We've switched the nameservers to 123-reg, and I thought I'd done it right, but maybe I've missed something.

Grrr, the bastards removed all the records I added. I've just re-added them so it should work again now.

I had to do a whole reset before the my laptop would recognise believe the new DNS settings, even with a gazillion flushdns's.

Good move with the DNS change because it was clearly the DNS which has been making this place slow for me. Since on your backup page the ping to the direct IP was 50ms whereas to the actual domain it was ~7000ms. It's now down to about 200.

OK, that solved that one :]

But...

When I go to teh backup on my laptop I get:

Your session has expired. You will need to login again to continue.

Which I do, and then get the continue/cancel screen which then takes me to:

Your session has expired. You will need to login again to continue.

I've cleared cookies/temp files/flushed the toilet but no joy. :<

Hmmm, not sure why that'd happen. Which URL are you using to get to it?

Well.

This morning my laptop, which was hibernated last night, is still getting me into teh.

On the other hand, my main PC, which was connectinf fine before it was rebooted last night, can't get in now, in spite of flushdns and reboots.
