Hmmm $501 each for me and the wife. And i have a 5 day weekend that weekend to. So i would only need to take one day off work. Would be fun to have a spontaneous flight back to blighty before i cant for a year. Will have to think about it.

I don't know how trains from Sheffield to York work, for instance whether I will need to change anywhere. I am wondering whether it is practical for me to meet up with anyone else en route, and wonder whether anyone's connections will connect with my connections. I assumed you were serious about going through Sheffield, but I don't know where you're coming from, geographically speaking.

 

I am being entirely serious about everything.

(Boff is coming from Edinburgh, so will only be going via Sheffield if he gets very, very lost.)

Pretty appalling. Some of the minor keys stuff worked ok, but a lot of the time it was like listening to two different bands playing different songs at the same time.

If the Scots stop being /shits/ and tell me what time they're coming through Leeds (if they are) then we can use that as a hub of sorts. It's somewhere in this thread but I can't be bothered finding it.
