Aye, I'll be there with one proviso: I've been provisionally booked to speak at a mediafag conference in Malaysia some time in October. But I should know my dates (if any) soon.

ASSUMING I am in attendance, the dog basket is thrown open, as ever, to anybody whose online moniker doesn't rhyme with Spazzo.

Your name rhymes with sin, therefore you are not only invited, but given A list sit-next-to-Manthorp-and-get-uncomfortably-pawed guest status.

Definately worth the price of the ticket. I'll check my calendar.

PLUS you'll get utter pride of place in the dog basket. Even above Kenny for whom the dog holds a particular and somewhat worrying affection.

I'd be more than happy to have Linn on top of me in the dog basket positionings.

You definitely should come, Yorks ace. I think we should pop into Blades and wave some broad swords about.

In all honesty, I would love to come and meet you all. Waving swords about would be icing on the cake!

Thanks.

Kind people of teh. May I join in this fine meet please?

Dearest Manthorp, may I crash upon a small section of dog basket, or possibly neighbouring real estate, for example door mat area or similar.

Finally, Mr Kenny, will you be traveling from Glasgow down? If so, may I travel in your packpack (if so, I promise to wear light clothes) or if not, what's the best way to travel in a southward direction?

I thenk you.

<goes to book weekend off work>

I've found that the best way to get to Yorkshire is by train, and if you can book suitably far in advance, there are the occasional cheap tickets to be had. Of course, that all depends on deciding on a date and all that. I think we probably need to wait until Mr Manthrob confirms his Malaysian mediafag commitments.

Hmm.. if you two end up going the East Coast route we could potentialy synchronise watches and get pissed early on the train down...

Or that migh tbe an entirely messy idea :$

Craig, thrice welcome. Craig'n'Kenny, I'll get confirmation whether or not I'm off to Malaysia next wek if possible.

Certainly! There's a good chance of that, because the train to Leeds goes the east coast mainline via Edinburgh. It might get very messy. Yay!
