How did you do that???
Make Bradford look like it has more character than a pile of rubble :D
I don't get it :(
LP: (H)
Ohhhh, yeh, actually, I thought of Xen when I took that photo :$
</slow>
Cool pictures. Wish I had that kind of skill and artistic inclination!
Just out of curiosty, picture Bradford13 for instance, did you have to get the old guys permission to take his picture?
edit: for some reason I like that picture the most! He looks deep in contemplation.
Din't say anything, just stood near him pretending to be interested in a market stall selling watches, and snapped the picture with the camera at my side.
edit: the slightly off angle is not through any artfag dynamism bollocks, it's just that it's hard to take a level photo when you're not looking through the viewfinder. The photo as seen is actually more level than as it was captured.
Thanks :)
When I saw him I rather thought he looked bored, as if he was waiting for his wife to finish shopping in the market.
Dunno. You are probably right. But I have been sat here for a couple of minutes looking at that picture and pondering.
I would rather think that he is contemplating the world and what is going on around us.
I think that picture is getting to me (in a good way). Thanks for that. :-)
I don't think it matters who's "right" - everyone's going to have a different reaction and each reaction is just as valid as the next.
And your impression is bound to be different to mine because you're only seeing the photo, whereas I have the memories of being there at the time to colour my perception of the image.
Well I'm finally home. Tried to change my ticket for an earlier one, but it was going to cost a fortune and by the time I'd had a couple of beers with Kenny the next train wasn't that much earlier than the one I was booked onto.
So I went on a train to Halifax and back instead to occupy myself for an hour!
Anyway, that was reet good.
Mouse: Excellent music shoppage! Hope it does good, any music shop that offers tea, beer and canapes on it's opening day deserves to done good.
Steve (and family): Thankyou profusely for your hospitallity (especially the fry up), however I will deny, when questioned, any involvement with any sort of pitch based sporting activities.
:D
