About time you got your shiznit together with this project Trig, it being possibly the only good idea you've had in your life.

My two tracks are Falling Snowflakes by Chris Cozens (bit of an obscurity: I can always email it or upload it to a file sharing server) and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by The Pretenders.

I think we should rise to the challenge of NOT including Fairytale of New York.

Only cos it's probably the best Christmas track ever committed to vinyl* but is rapidly becoming part of the canon of just-about-tolerable-christmas-songs-that-have-been-reduced-to-cliche-cos-they've-been-played-to-death.

I'm close to doing that with the Pretenders track, which still gives me a warm and fuzzy enema every time I play it.

Classic Trig: one good idea and he huffs his way out of a place in the hearts of all.

Any kind (and slightly less frantically busy than me) soul up for taking over the task?

I love Leon Redbone almost more than is healthy for one man to love another: in a purely musical way of course.

To my tired ears, the Ghost of the St Louis Blues is as perfect as a perfect thing can be.

But not wintery.

So I didn't suggest it.

But now that the winter CD is not to be, I will.

It will be. We must exert the Werthery potency of our years upon some obliging young shaver. Like we do in public lavatories.

No. Its /was/ my baby. The time is over.
I dont want ideas from minds 2 months when I asked for winter records.
Ideas will be different now.
The deal is off.
You do not have rights to my project.

ps. This does NOT make you any sort of young shaver, obliging or otherwise. You're still in the realm of the Werther sniffers, if not active suckers.
