Bloody loads. I'm being paid £7,500 for the twelve. Though that's inclusive, so my research trip had to come out of it (about £300), and materials (only about £300, for musical instrument grade boxwood courtesy of Prince Charles - well, Highgrove estate, anyway), and blades (£150 and rising)

It will not die, as long as I have balls to offer my lovely friends.

I dare say there's a bit of truth in what you say. I'm only charging around £7.50 an hour - not even skilled labour rates. But I do love it.

I'm fed up of carving the ball exteriors, though, having done ten so far and another fourteen to go.

That's a skill well worth learning then, apparently =D Does it take you a lot of time?

Also I think that you should get shots of them all, assembled and of the insides, and put them up on a web page.
