Must check my History of Medical Illustration. Pretty sure it was a favorite of medieval barbers.

They have sent out the fraud squad.

Well about time too. And I hope it's the serious fraud squad, not just the normal bunch.

It's the cracked ball squad, aka "Sweeney Todd". The best, the toughest.

Well I hope they get to the bottom of this preposterous crime.

They're waiting outside the hotel for me, cuffs in hand (I'm in Brum, doing my latest artfaggery with GreyHair: https://birminghamhippodrome.wordpress.com/category/birmingham-2/page/2/ ).  I will have to exit through the delivery entrance, as I so often do, John.

I feel whole. A huge gap in my life is filled.

And nice work BTW, but...prayer nuts? Who'd've thunk that?

The medieval ones put mine to shame...

But then they had little else to do than carve their nuts (qpj).

Soz Fixrbabe, I'm not familiar with him.  Of course, there were many excellent sculptors in the centuries prior to concrete & plastics.  Quite unusual to have a stone carver who was celebrated for woodcarving too: the skill set (and tools) don't have massive amounts of overlap.

What more do you know about him?

I like his cheery vulgarity.  He is the Donald McGill of his time.

I think of him and his ilk as manufacturers of pricey designer label goods, like Gucci handbags.
