I was thinking of this topic at work, but forgot to kick it up again. (dance) 
I was wondering whether you could pressurize a cylindrical glass container enough so you can make it into a bouncing ball. I don't know, maybe one day I'll be able to do that... the day I can somehow protect myself from the flying shards or glass that might get everywhere.
