My Oculus game "RUN" is coming along nicely. I have manage to install the dev softare and Unity 4 so far

Picked it up from the depot yesterday. Quite a haul of free stuff!
Not sure why they included a USB ether net adapter, do laptops not have ether net ports anymore?!

There's also a decent PSU supplied for the board - 5v, 3 amp barrel connector with not one, not two, not three, not four but FIVE, yes FIVE choices of outlet style.

Apple ones don't, Wifi/USB/Thunderbolt* only. I guess that some other light/ultrabooks (or whatever they're called this year) might not either.

Well that's awfully good of Microsoft to cater for mac users!
I'm not sure why they've gone for the ethernet option anyway, surely a USB cable would have been cheaper and easier.

Like I said, if Apple have dropped Ethernet ports for whatever reason other manufacturers may also have done so for (some of) their lines. And presumably they're Windows (or more likely Linux).
