Insert

How come keyboards are still produced with a scroll lock light, when scroll lock is considered a deprecated feature? Would it not be more useful to have an 'insert' light for the many many times I've pressed it and not realised. There's no doubt some jiggery pokery I could be doing with a soldering iron to remedy the situation myself, but is there an argument for keeping the scroll lock light over something which would be more used/useful.
Also, where's Ken these days?

In Excel, if you turn on scroll lock, using the arrow keys scrolls the spread sheet instead of changing the cell the cursor is in.
This may be useful for me.

But yeah, I hate pressing Insert by accident.

Indeedy.
I see the benefits for keeping it, and depending on personal use it's either going to be something that's useful or just ignored.
My point was that it'd be better having a light for the insert key as /shurly/ that's more used/hit erroneously and therefore in need of an indicator than the scroll lock.
