That'll teach them not to do so well in the paralympics.

No, you got it wrong. The right answer would be:
A. Me, predicting stuff after it's happened.

I endorse Patch's post. If you want us to believe that, through your expertise, you can predict extraordinary global events, then predict an extraordinary global event. If you cannot, then stop pretending to yourself and to us that you can. It's delusional and tedious.

Presumably, in terms of your personal psychology, you blather on like this as a tactic to win the attention that you fail to receive in offline life.
It is not irrelevant, I suspect, that the focus of your delusion is in your own alleged prediction and 'their' alleged control of vast global forces - weather, tectonic plate movement, volcanoes - thus ascribing to yourself an understanding (and implicit control) beyond that of the rest of humankind.
I would recommend reading Nietzsche's
On the Genealogy of Morals
, followed in short order by Dostoevsky's
Crime and Punishment
, in the faint hope that it might give you a sense of perspective on your place in the order of things. Like me and like the other members of Teh Possie, you will probably be a happier turtle if you can accept that you are just waggling your tail in the mud along with the rest of us.
