That assumes you can touch type though. I can type very fast if I know what I'm going to type, or if someone is dictating. But when I'm reading off a piece of paper in the same way as that (I.e. not having a clue what comes next) then I can't type that fast (Although prolly faster than your normal joe)
Same here... I used to be able to go upto 150wpm at secondary school, but I'd need to look at the keyboard and have a clear idea of what I was typing before doing it. Now I don't need to look at the keyboard, but I can only get to around 100wpm. But it doesn't help when the text is strangely written and I am unable to anticipate what comes next... not having a backspace key is a pain also.
